we're often not doing randomized controlled trials for, like, a new drug You know, we're doing community baseddata collection, and I think bringing empathy, bringingsoul and spirit to the work makes it richer instead oftrying to weed that out somehow.
And the storytelling is so powerful, especially whenyou're able to start breaking down those barriers and youhave built that trust, And for me, in my experience, whenI have worked with communities, especially communitiesof people who look like me, being a when they see me,the barrier is is a little bit broken.
Like, just just because I'm black, I walk into anothercommunity in Mississippi does not mean they welcomeme with open arms.
Right? But when I'm able to share different things frommy experience, and they can say, oh, yeah.
I went through that too.
And that right there was just a a moment of trust buildingthat, and I hadn't seen that in no textbook.
